Legislative Team
The COIN Legislative Team tracks legislation that is proposed during each session.
The team also tracks ballot initiatives and executive orders from the governor. The team may recommend that COIN support or oppose these bills, etc. The 2023 Oregon Legislative Session began January 17th and ended in late June after the longest walkout in Oregon history. As a result, the Legislative team is interested in working with other groups around the state to make it more difficult for a handful of legislators to hold our government hostage.
The COIN Legislative Team meets once a month, on the second Monday of each month at 10:00 am via Zoom, and every week on Mondays at 10:00 am during legislative sessions. If you're interested in joining the team, click HERE.
